Who can vote in Missouri?

Under Missouri law, if you are a United States citizen 17 years and 6 months of age or older, you may register and vote in any election which is held on or after your 18th birthday. In addition, you must be a resident twenty-one (21) days prior to the election. The exceptions are:

• A person who is adjudged incapacitated
• A person who is confined under sentence of imprisonment
• A person who is on probation or parole after conviction of a felony, until finally discharged from such probation or parole
• A person who has been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor connected with the right of suffrage.

How to Register to Vote

Missouri election laws provide for registration by mail, at all motor vehicle registration offices, and at participating state agencies.
